Working on my personal statement with Peter was both inspiring and rewarding, as he guided me to think more deeply about what I'd learned and pushed me to go beyond the surface. On the TSA writing task, Peter helped me a lot with structuring my arguments, which was key to helping me express my ideas clearly and finish on time. Peter helped me overcome my reliance on textbook answers by encouraging me to think on the spot through challenging questions. This approach really helped me become accustomed to the Oxbridge style of interviewing, and I applied these skills in interviews at other universities as well. The Romanian educational system is very rigid and, despite having participated in math contests, I felt quite uncomfortable with economic modeling questions. When the interview came, Peter’s guidance enabled me to answer these questions with ease and effectively use the interviewer’s insights.

Working with Peter over my Oxford application process was an incredible experience. I applied for Philosophy, Politics and Economics and my school arranged for Peter to tutor me throughout the process for which I am eternally grateful! Peter’s support with both the TSA entrance exam and the interview not only helped with my understanding but also greatly increased my confidence in my own ability. The process can seem incredibly daunting; however, Peter broke down each aspect and provided invaluable advice over my interview preparation sessions. I initially struggled to grasp some of the concepts in the TSA, however Peter’s tailored sessions simplified the exam and cleared up any issues I’d had previously. Over my interview sessions with Peter, we covered all three of the subjects in great detail. He challenged my thinking in the same way the Oxford tutors did during my interview (and currently in my tutorials at Oxford!) by delving deeper into questions and exploring avenues that I would never have previously considered. Peter is incredibly patient and extremely intelligent - I owe him a great deal. I was accepted onto my course at Oxford and am really enjoying my degree!
