Peter is the director and founder of the Centre for Family and Education and the founder and owner of Foreshaw Brookes Education.

Peter has always cared deeply about family formation and outcomes on an individual and family level, but accepted much of the conventional wisdom about the environmental effects of population growth. He therefore felt there was a paradox: each individual life brought into the world by loving parents brings immense value to the new individual and their family, however poses a risk to sustainability. At the beginning of 2023, he came across new information on the environmental feasibility of sustaining a large population and on the challenges of an ageing population. At this point, it became apparent to him that supporting family formation, size and health is a win-win-win: a win for the individuals born, a win for the families, and a win for society.

In 2025, he founded the Centre for Family and Education (CFE), a nonprofit which conducts original research, presents policy recommendations and provides educational resources and courses to close information gaps about policies.

Prior to founding the CFE, Peter worked full time as an educator with a focus on providing extended academic support to gifted school leavers following completing his studies in Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Corpus Christi College, Oxford University. Both Peter’s mother and maternal grandmother worked as teachers and later lecturers, and instilled a strong sense of the value of an education that emphasises the development of conceptual understanding, analytical capability and the ability to independently find answers to challenging questions.

Through helping students build up their underlying academic skills, Peter has aided hundreds of students to strengthen their academic portfolios. Throughout the years, Peter has delivered education with various established institutions - from tutoring an Olympian on a traveling contract with the British School of Monaco to delivering workshops with the Institute of Economic Affairs and working with top Oxbridge tutoring agencies. In early 2025, he founded Foreshaw Brookes Education to directly organise courses and facilitate the delivery of education on a larger scale.
